At Living Elsewhere, I try to present my readers with new perspectives on everything from living abroad to hot showers. It seems that there are many curious and open-minded people who enjoy this. As a result, a community of interesting and fun people has been assembling here.

To foster the development of this community and to thank the kind souls who are willing to support Living Elsewhere financially—those who inhabit what I call the Inner Elsewhere—I host monthly online get-togethers known as Living Elsewhere Living Room sessions.

If you are not yet part of the Inner Elsewhere community, which has access to these events, you may want to sign up and try it out. At recent gatherings, we have spent time getting to know each other, talking about life in the many places where we live (from California to Portugal to Albania), weighing the ins and outs of leaving the United States, and discussing a wide variety of interesting topics with the common theme of perspective and understanding ourselves and the world around us.
